Junior Producer

Lucky Day is seeking a Junior Producer. You will work alongside an Executive Producer to facilitate the production of Lucky Day projects. You will need to communicate in an efficient, concise and amiable manner while tackling the different demands that will arise in an efficient fashion throughout the project workflow. Junior Producers will show a capacity for anticipating project complications to implement effective solutions, delivering the highest quality results and experience for our clients while maintaining a positive working environment. Junior Producers will assist the Executive Producer with a number of activities including but not limited to bidding, scheduling, prepping the team, quality controlling reviews, finishing, and the delivery and archiving of each project. The highest quality results for the creative vision is the utmost goal for Lucky Day and its employees.

Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of post and/or production experience

  • Strong knowledge of video production with focus on commercial campaigns or long form narratives.

  • Proficient in Slack, Google Workspace, Frame.io, and Adobe apps

  • Strong skills in clear and direct communication (both verbal and written)

  • Ability to schedule multiple people, teams, and projects

  • Strong organizational skills

  • The ability to anticipate and problem solve as needed in order to maintain efficient and productive workflows.

  • The ability to schedule your time and others while monitoring the progress of multiple projects.

  • A clear understanding of Post Production workflow from editorial to archiving

  • The ability to maintain a cordial and amiable disposition while working within a demanding and lively work environment

Responsibilities:

  • Focus and guide the team(s) to the delivery goal on time, within budget, and consistent with creative direction

  • Devise the best approach to the project and manage the team(s) appropriately

  • Guide and supervise the team(s) - planning for every step the project needs to take; including scheduling and communication between Lucky Day and Client as well as internally

  • Creating detailed calendars for each project and tracking each project as they progress

  • Securing and booking resources that the project may need (editorial, graphics, audio, flame, color, and/or other.)

  • Detailed attention to Client’s needs in order to deliver to their requirements

  • Detailed attention to the Internal Team’s needs

  • Communicate effectively, clearly and directly with everyone involved in the project(s)
