SCA Sponsorship

While soccer’s barrier to entry is low, it can get expensive once you start pursuing and developing in the team sport. For some families, that can make or break their ability to continue playing. Fortunately, there are clubs like SCA.

SCA Sponsorship

June 11, 2025

If you know anything about Lucky Day, you know that we’re big fans of the world’s most popular sport, soccer. Founders Zach Jones and Chris Vanderloo met while playing in college and they’ve passed their passion for the game on to the rest of us.

While soccer’s barrier to entry is low (you just need a ball ⚽️), it can get expensive once you start pursuing and developing in the sport. The costs that come with practice, travel, kits, and dues can severely limit access for many. Fortunately, there are clubs like the Soccer Chance Academy (SCA) that provide kids with the knowledge, structure, and commitment to help them continue to develop as soccer players while also providing scholarships and financial support to players and families to make sure that kids don’t have to stop playing.

The benefits of the game are numerous — it teaches us teamwork, humility, and the value of practice — but beyond that, like other games, it’s a chance to interact, connect, and play. The world needs more of this, and we’re here for it.

Player Stats

  • 420 players currently play for SCA
  • Over 28% of players receive some form of scholarship for tuition

We’re really excited to be supporting SCA in the 2025 season, and if it’s something that resonates with you, don’t hesitate to contact us or SCA directly to see how you can help!
