Rachel Gardell grew up as a voracious reader in Northern Idaho convinced she wanted to be an actress. It wasn’t until much later that she realized she liked being behind the scenes making shit happen more than standing in the spotlight. Her love of reading has instilled in her a great love for narrative and storytelling.
Taking a somewhat back door entry into the production world – she enjoyed roles as a production coordinator, line producer, agency producer and production manager before landing in Post production at Lucky Day. With a deeply held belief that our experiences are aggregate she attempts to produce with empathy and grit.
When not making your editorial dreams come true, she likes to travel, read, cook, host dinner parties, do endurance races, go to Blazers games and attend live events of all types.
